Water Rates & Fees
In accordance with the Urbandale Water Utility (UWU) Rules and Regulations, customers are charged a monthly service availability fee. This fee covers fixed costs that are not dependent on the amount of water consumed, and includes costs for customer service, metering and meter reading, and costs for the pipeline to serve your property. Please note that going forward you will be receiving a monthly statement for the service availability charge as shown in the table below (not included below are the city’s availability fees).
