To start, cancel, or transfer service the Urbandale Water Utility asks that all customers contact the office in advance at 515-278-3940. New residents will be sent a packet of information including an Application for Water Service Card to fill out and return with a deposit. The deposit is based on the size of the meter installed at the property ranging from $40.00 – $150.00. The deposit is returned as a credit on the monthly statement after three years of service or applied towards a final statement. All residents will pay a non-refundable service charge of $5.00.
