Project Update – ASR Well Public Hearing
The Water Utility continues to pursue the design of a new Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR) well project. This future project will be located at the 170th Street water tower and is a key investment in long-term water security and sustainability. During the future construction of this project, the well drilling process will involve a continuous operation. We understand the importance of maintaining a peaceful environment and we will implement noise mitigation sound barriers during construction to minimize any disruption to nearby residents. Ensuring public involvement and input, a public hearing regarding the proposed noise mitigation has been set for the October 8th City Council meeting.

*Water Utility Reminder*
As we enter into colder temperatures, please remember to disconnect hoses from hose bibs to prevent damaged water lines at your home. Also, if your home has an irrigation system, please ensure it is properly drained to prevent damage and water leaks.
