Special Alert: As we enter into below freezing temperatures, please remember to disconnect hoses from hose bibs to prevent damaged water lines at your home. Also, if your home has an irrigation system, please ensure it is properly drained to prevent damage and water leaks. In case of a water leak, it’s important to know where your main water shutoff is located. Most main water shutoff valves are located inside the home, in the basement, and just a few feet from where the main water line enters the house. To shut off water to your home, ensure the valve is turned perpendicular to the water line (ball valve style) or clockwise in the off position (gate valve style).
